Luzon to Visayas Road Trip

It took us 7hrs of car travelled from Calamba City, Laguna, to Naga City, Camarines Sur, it was a long joy of travelled, We need some rest to our long journey ahead, it was our first stop over. The very enjoying part of this journey is of course a foodtrip.

Matnog Port in Sorsogon

From Naga City to Matnog Port in Sorsogon, it took us almost 5 hrs of car travelled, it was the main port in Luzon where ferries bound for journey in the Visayas Region located. Our driver is soo tired and need to take some sleep and rest .We stayed for a night at RGT hotel in Matnog, the hotel is near the port. We paid P1500 pesos for a night of stayed, the room is good for a group of five persons, but no food is available in the hotel, so need to eat outside the hotel.We woke up early in the morning to board a RORO going to San Isidro Port in Samar.
Travelling from Luzon to Visayas by land through the Roll-On-Roll-Off or Roro made easy. Different shipping lines station in the port. We choose the..FASTCAT-Ferrysafe, FerryFast, FerryConvenient RoRo.. It's a new ferry travelling from Matnog port to San Isidro port in Samar.The ferry has a clean and cool comfort room there’s a small canteen serving food to the passengers. You can watch a movie while travelling. With only 1 hr and 30 minutes we reached the province of Samar, it fast and convenient travel I had in a RORO vessel.

Cafeteria - Inside the FastCat

Inside the FastCat is the cafeteria that served a pack meals, softdrinks and juices, some souvenir items and pasalubong. Maybe you want to ask the prices of the foods that are being sold in this cafeteria...????. It was triple in the land price of each items that are being sold here, so i suggest to bring your own foods and drinks especially bottled water.

In the middle of our journey to Samar, We encountered some meduim to big waves that abled to swayed our ship, My daughter felt dizzy and vomited in the middle of our journey. She was soo scared and nervous.
